Pantone Color Institute, responsible for forecasting colour trends in global markets for more than 20 years, have determined that Classic Blue (Pantone 19-4052) will be the colour of the year for 2020. Therefore, the vibrant Living Coral from 2019 is now left aside for this classic, timeless shade which is sure to find its way into adverts, window displays, new looks and also of course, our homes.
Classic Blue is elegant and simple, a calm colour with strong ties to those places which transmit peace and trust (the sky, the sea…). That is why it is a great choice for the home environment where comfort and peace are priorities.
On the Mobenia colour palette of finishes is Whale Blue, a lacquer with a more greyish base than Classic Blue. However, this shade has the same qualities, and furthermore is more elegant and restful, making it more suitable for such a demanding setting as the home.
