Historically, Delta’s selection has defined the country’s industrial design status every two years in recognition of the achievements of industrial designers and manufacturing companies, and for many years it has been a benchmark for this sector, as well as a valuable platform for public promotion and recognition. Products from Delta Selection will compete for Delta gold, Delta silver or Delta bronze and Delta opinions. They will also be part of the “Best design of the year” exhibition, which will be held in the spring of 2021 due to Covid-19.
The independent and international Delta 2020 award jury, consisting of: Davide Groppi, Frank Zierenberg, Marta Alonso, Matali Crasset and Vicenç Aguilera, has evaluated Delta’s “choice” online and will issue its justified and non-appealable verdict and award Delta awards at the public event of the ADI awards ceremony (Delta awards, ADI medals, ADI Culture and ADI Awards) on November 24, 2020 within Barcelona Design Week.
